The outdoor spaces of the property are exceptional. Our room was very comfortable. David and Layla are wonderful hosts that try to make your stay feel like you are at home. The location of the property is wonderful; near downtown, near two beautiful parks and conveniently close to CMU. Also, both mornings we woke up and had a great breakfast.

closeness to the college was great.
closeness to the college was great. The hotel is older, but it was clean. We only needed basic amenities and it fit the bill. But I requested the ground floor and paid for it. The folks above us talked & moved around all night. And the constant changing of the heat in the room was noticeable. we set the temp but it just kept adjusting on its own. one minute we were warm, then cool air came on, then back to warm air. The folks above us made us realize how thin the wall were. get a top floor if you can. other then that, it was good for an overnight day of a day or two.

Mount Pleasant is a great college town!
Mount Pleasant is a great college town! It has a lot of different options of activities to do. The downtown shops are super cute and the parks are amazing. There are also plenty of food options for everyone.

Room was dirty and it stunk.
Room was dirty and it stunk. Towels looked like someone's rags. Miss matched. No breakfast as advertised. Paper thin walls. Uncomfortable beds. Would not recommend to anyone. One of the worst motels I have ever stayed in. It was not worth what they charge. Will never stay again. They also have people that are living on the first floor. Crap all over the place. Towels, chairs, etc. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ONE!

Basketball tournament at Morley Courts was completely overpriced… $25.00 per person per one day no matter the age or $40.00 per person no matter age for weekend…

Was as I remembered from visits past. Was also very busy.
Was as I remembered from visits past. Was also very busy. I don't like the smoking arrangements in the front of the bldg. Makes it look cheap . Also we noticed their not using the shuttle buses as much. And now they charge people to use them. It used to be a complimentary tip. I didn't like that no one was selling beer or wine on the iced carts that they use to. The lines at the Bar was always long. Had to carry around a jacket, cause coat check was not in service.
Wonderful location. Absolutely beautiful and mysterious building to explore, lots of cool details. Beautiful decks and patio areas to enjoy the outdoors. Our room was at the top and it was nice and quiet, great temperature control, and very clean, cleaner than going to a hotel for sure.
The room was the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever been in!!! The location is also perfect. There is a Starbucks I could walk to within two minutes. There are so many places to eat, shop, and get gas around this hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was lovely. I already booked again!
How closely it was to everything but the casino. When I booked the place it showed it was right across the street from the hotel. When I asked about why it said they were across the hotel online the front desk just laughed and said "oh really " while laughing in my face.
Your breakfast was nice specially the fresh fruit juice and the location of this hotel is very convenience as it is very close to Target, Walmart and so many like this. I enjoyed the days spent in this hotel. The staffs were frienly enough as well as helpful too.
The location was the main feature here. Hotel looked a little older.
Staff were exceptional! Friendly and courteous. Both the woman working days and the man (?Eric) were warm and friendly. I'd probably stay here again.
